African Dwarf Clawed Frogs

Maintenance

The following maintenance routine is common amongst aquarists:

  • weekly - water changes of 20% to 30% with fresh water
  • daily - temperature monitoring
  • daily - removing dead plant leaves, uneaten food and other debris

Sometimes you have to remove shed frog skin from the tank if it has not been eaten by the tank inhabitants.

Safety advice:
It is a wise precaution to disconnect all the electrical power plugs before you start working in the tank.
